gig is as lead on Cashmere Mafia, a Sex and the City-style program about four professional women in New York City. However, Cashmere failed to impress viewers in its debut season, making it a prime candidate for cancellation.

Conditional on Cashmere's cancellation, Liu is in talks to join Dirty Sexy Money--another new ABC show--as a series regular, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Also starring in the dramedy are Donald Sutherland, William Baldwin, and Natalie Zea. Liu would play a lawyer, but exact details haven't been disclosed.
