BEIJING, May 13 (Xinhua) -- It is possible that Sichuan Province in southwest China will have more strong aftershocks, deputy director of the China Earthquake Networks Center Zhang Xiaodong said Tuesday.

新华社北京讯 —— 中国地震台网中心副主任张晓东：四川省仍可能遭遇强烈余震。

A strong aftershock measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale rocked Sichuan's capital Chengdu at around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday. The epicenter was again in Wenchuan County of Sichuan, which was hit by a 7.8-magnitude earthquake Monday afternoon.

今日下午3点10分，四川省会成都发生里氏6.1级余震，震中仍然为汶川县。
